Ryazan State Medical University is a large specialized University situated in Ryazan region, Russia and was established in 1943. It was named after academician I.P Pavlova.

Ryazan State Medical University is considered as the most reputed medical institution in Russia and also a preferred choice of students to pursue MBBS career.

Today, Ryazan State Medical University is a scientific medical institution with state of the art infrastructure, advanced teaching techniques, organized curriculum, cutting edge teaching methods, adaptive environment, highly experienced and qualified faculty members in a different specialization.

The University is also a research centre which conducts research in the field of medical science. It provides training to specialists through a residency program along with internships, higher education and help students to get their Specialized degrees in the field of Medicine. The primary goal of the University is to provide high quality professional education in clinical sciences based on the traditions of a high school education and by using progressive scientific technologies to impart knowledge to its students through highly skilled academicians.


The British rating agency Times Higher Education (THE) has published the results of the global rating “World University Rankings 2020”. Ryazan State Medical University was included in the list of the best universities in the world for the second year in a row.

The University scored all the main characteristics of the rating and was placed in Top 200 in the category "Health and Well-Being" among the world's universities and in Top 4 among 47 Russian universities.

It is worth noting that 766 universities from 85 countries took part in the global study this year.

The university performance rankings are ones of the most prestigious and influential in the world. These are the only global performance tables that assess the involvement of universities in the implementation of the United Nations sustainable development goals.
